November's end
Always cold outside
The rose-gray tint
Of the fading light
Snow has fallen
There'll be more tonight
We pretend to be surprised
Heading in-to-oo-oo
Winter

We don't talk
The way we used to do
Is it up to me
Is it down to you
The twilight traffic
In the rushing hours
This time no longer ours
Heading in-to-oo-oo
Winter

Kitchen lights turn on
Up and down the block
December decorations
Light up lives in a window box

At the river park
As we walk by
Wild geese flock
But they don’t fly
Looks like they
Choose to stay
Same as you and I
Heading in-to-oo
Winter
