They went on and suddenly the woods opened upon light, and they had reached the river. Everyone stopped, but Doc talked on ahead as though nothing had happened. ‘Only today,’ he said, ‘today, in October sun, it’s all gold—sky and tree and water. Everything just before it changes looks to be made of gold.’

At it again.
Never really gave it up, of course. Still interested in what’s new as well as carrying forward music lived though – from the 70s right up to this weekend.
Still writing about how it feels, to be alive, engaged, playful, sarcastic, cheesed off, laughing at it, in the now and though the fire. Live-time and lifetime thoughts and feels; love, work, marriage, wins, losses, friends and foes now, and now gone.
There still some piss and vinegar, but there’s also love and beauty, times seen and time hoped for. It’s there in the songs and the playing. You can hear it, groove to it, sway and dance to it.
It’s now and it’s good.
