I was born one October day and so Octoberday.com seemed like a good name to use when giving birth to recordings of songs, tunes or other audio and video projects.
At Octoberday.com you can purchase downloadable music shortly after it was recorded either live or in the studio. No need to buy and then "rip" the CD - download the tracks and immediately add them to your computer playlist or portable player. We have the technology, let's use it.
Also at Octoberday.com you can hear what you've heard about. There are generous previews of each song and we are looking at ways to allow hearing the whole thing.
The intent in setting up Octoberday was to provide an outlet for recordings of music and musical projects I am associated with. This includes "A Winter's Tune" and various bands I play, or have played with. My personal goal is to have 10 new songs available by the first Sunday in December. (As of 2010-07-28 I have 8 NEW songs that I'd can play for you at the next show.... (including 4 Summery ones...)
Last bit about Octoberday.com is, yes, it kinda sucks right now (believe me, it's a pain to administrate as well). But go ahead, check out the music (looking beyond the generic design) - we are updating the whole thing, and it will be ready ....soon....
USAGE TIP: click the artist picture to jump to the song/album. When you're ready to purchase, the orange "buy now" link is the thing to click. THANKS in advance!
